Our Staff

Heather Brown Kidde, CNM
Heather joined us in October, 2008 happily returning to her home state of Vermont. She attended the University of California, San Francisco where she recieved a  Masters in Science with a speciality in Nurse-Midwifery & Women's Health. She has worked with women as a prenatal yoga instructor, childbirth educator, manager at a shelter for domestic violence, and at women's health clinics. 


 Martha Redpath, CNM
Martha graduated with a Nursing Degree from Duke University and practiced for years as an OB nurse.  She attended the Frontier School of Nurse-Midwifery, graduating in  1998.  She also has a Master's Degree in Nursing from Case Western University.  Martha is the chapter chair of the Vermont Chapter of the American College of Nurse Midwives and is active in many birth and community related causes. She has been honored to assist hundreds of families with their births.

 
 Nancy Klopfenstein, RN
Nancy is the nurse manager for the practice. She worked for 2 years on the medical surgical floor at Porter Medical Center before transferring to the Birthing Center, where she was privileged to work for 8 years before coming to Tapestry. She is a certified child passenger safety technician and offers advice and assistance with car seats to our clients. She has lived in Vergennes for over 20 years and is thrilled to help bring midwifery care to the community.
 
Melissa Kin
Melissa is our office representative one day a week. She's also a massage therapist who specializes in prenatal massage and recently moved to Vermont from Portland, Oregon.



 

Sarah Terk, CPC E&M

Sarah is our 4 day a week office representative. She has worked in a variety of different medical offices. She has a back ground in medical billing. She is happy to offer advice or assist with any health insurance questions or issues that may arise.
